Prepare to Sell

Prepare to Sell You can do a lot to increase the appeal of your home. If you do these things…you will put more money in your pocket and close in sooner period of time.

What To Do To Prepare:

The following are a couple of factors to keep in mind when listing your property for sale:

Curb Appeal.

Keeping your landscape clean & neat including the front door area. Consider painting the front door, if needed. You will create an immediate impact on passers-by and potential buyers.

Property Repairs.

Simple upgrades, needed repairs and a fresh coat of paint in the most frequently used rooms will instantly add dollars to the sale.

Cleanliness and Staging.

Keep your home uncluttered, sweet-smelling, and well-lit from top-to-bottom. Clean like you never cleaned before. I will walk through your home before it is listed for sale to see how you can improve the staging of your home.

Inspections and Disclosures.

Smart sellers have their home inspected by a licensed home inspector before they put it on the market. This way you can repair some items before the buyer sees, and then tries to negotiate a lower price. It is always best practice to be honest and disclose all the features and issues with your home.

Showtime.

Presenting your home to potential buyers is a job that I will take care of.  Please do not follow the buyers around the house. They feel more comfortable discussing the property with their agent privately.
